One of my favorite things about the new year is reading about or listening to new year psychic predictions. Each year around this time, you see a flood of news articles in which psychics, mystics and astrologers share their predictions for the upcoming year.
Some of the articles seem to broach the topic tongue in cheek, treating the readings as something of a joke. Others are downright nasty, such as this skeptic site, pointing out what different psychics got wrong last year.
When anyone makes a psychic prediction, there is the possibility they could be wrong because we all have free will and can change the future at any time. I believe a psychic message or premonition is a view into the future if all things continue along the same path they have been going. But if one of the parties in the event makes a change, the outcome can change.
What can we expect in 2023?

Esoterically and energetically the Super New Moon of January 21st feels like the moment when this year officially kicks off, so you really have until then to finish journaling those dreams and intentions. Not only would Mars and Mercury have gone direct by then, so no more wading through treacle, but it also heralds the beginning of the Chinese New Year which is all about positivity, success and good luck.

6 ways to harness the power and magic of 2023
1. You still have time to start that vision board. Don’t over-complicate it… you can just as easily write a list of manifestations in your journal.
2. Creativity is a big word this year, either for birthing new ideas, or where you might have lost hope around a project or dream, now is the time to trust in your unique gifts once more.
3. If there are relationships that no longer serve you, and are not quite your ‘vibrational match’, 2023 will force your hand…it’s time to let them go.
4. Stay open to adventure, remain curious and seek experiences that broaden your horizons.
5. Recognize the value of your fulfilling friendships and social networks.
6. 2023 buzzwords are Collaboration, Integration, Adventure and Abundance.
