Break through barriers to be the best you

Spiritual life coach Laura Morrice explains how you can overcome obstacles and get back in touch with your inner knowing

We’re all born equal and all with the same potential, especially when it comes to psychic abilities. However, over time, these natural abilities can lessen depending on the belief systems we’re brought up by. So that inner knowing, or our gut feelings, can soon become dismissed and overlooked as mere coincidence, or we’re programmed to believe they’re not true! This can cause us to disregard our inner guidance system, eventually losing all trust in what we know to be true and our ability to navigate life with ease and flow. So when that inner knowing wants to rise within you again, the journey can seem bumpy, to say the least. Unfortunately, most of your friends and family won’t relate, leaving you with feelings of isolation because, let’s face it, no one likes to be ‘the odd one out’. 

In my work as a healer and spiritual life coach, I’ve helped many get back in touch with their spiritual gifts and assisted them as they worked through the many blockages and limiting beliefs created in their life due to their conditioning. I’ve then been lucky to watch as they transform from feeling unfulfilled and bored to enjoying a life full of happiness, joy and contentment. As soon as you become misaligned from your source energy blueprint, the contrasting events of life begin to take over and control every aspect of your existence. If you’re living life this way, it’s little wonder that you don’t or can’t have more trust in the signs from your higher self. And if you’re not in alignment with this divine part of your being, chances are you’re not experiencing any of your psychic abilities the way you could be. 

The importance of the chakras

Before diving into awakening your third eye (the chakra related to psychic development), you must begin working through your other chakras first. This is because the blockages that have kept your psychic awareness hidden are stored away in the lower chakras, so these energy centres need balancing first.  If your root chakra is blocked or indeed spinning too fast, you will not be able to achieve any positive results regarding psychic abilities. This is because your energy needs to be strong, stable and secure. If your sacral chakra is out of balance, you won’t have creative flow or feel worthy of the abilities you possess. You will not have adequate confidence and power to share your abilities. If your heart chakra has alignment issues, you will not be able to connect with unconditional love and compassion, both of which are needed for you to reconnect to your gift. And, if your throat chakra has blockages, expressing your abilities will be very challenging, which could amplify frustration levels.
